Why Rubber Ducky Isopods Exists

Rubber Ducky Isopods officially launched in 2020, but our experience started long before that.

Our background has always centered around building healthy living systems from the ground up and understanding how biology, soil and natural processes work together. We spent years learning how healthy ecosystems actually function, not by forcing nature, but by working with it.

That philosophy carried into Rubber Ducky Isopods.

Over the years, we have vended at hundreds of conventions and expos across the country, talked with thousands of keepers face to face, tested products in real-world setups and listened closely to what problems people needed help solving.

That’s because we believe true bioactive starts below the surface.

Healthy ecosystems begin with microbial diversity, intentional ingredients and creating an environment that supports life instead of fighting it. We do not build products for marketing claims. And we will call something bioactive unless we genuinely believe it is.
