We offer the unique opportunity for distinctive deals multiple times a year! The first chance lies with our biannual sale, where we offer 50% off our entire store collection - the highest discount that we have seen within the industry. We send a private car delivery service within a 75-mile radius of Denver, CO. Our goal is to get your isopods to you as quickly and safely as possible!
YES - We offer FREE Local Delivery in Colorado for orders of $250+
There is NOT! With an order of $250+ our team will drive anywhere between Fort Collins and Colorado Springs. With an order of $500+ our team can make additional accommodations.
Shipping & Return Questions
It depends on where you are in the United States and which shipping method you select. We strive to get your isopods to you as quickly and safely as possible. Our shipping day is Tuesday every week.
We ONLY ship out orders on Tuesdays of each week (excluding local delivery). This prevents packages getting delayed in transit over weekends or holidays.
We generate tracking numbers the morning of shipment. An automated e-mail will be sent to you which contains your tracking number. Be sure to check your spam folder! Sometimes these automated emails get filtered there. If you still cannot find it, please reach out and we will provide you with your tracking number.
We provide you with three shipping options at checkout: Standard, 2-Day and Overnight.
Standard is ALWAYS free and typically takes 3-5 business days. Please be mindful when choosing this option of potential delays, cold or hot weather and the type of species you ordered. There is NO Live Arrival Guarantee with this option.
2-Day is an additional $30 and is a great option for ensuring your isopods arrive to you quicker. There is NO Live Arrival Guarantee with this option.
Next Day Air is the safest option to ensure your isopods arrive to you quickly and safely. It is $55 and ALWAYS includes a Live Arrival Guarantee. On the very rare occasion there is a problem with your order or isopod(s) arrive dead, please reach out to us with picture proof within 1 hour of receiving your package.
We do! However, if temperatures are extreme either here in Colorado or at your destination, shipping may be postponed. This is to ensure your isopods arrive to you safely. We will communicate this with you prior to shipping day (Tuesday).
We use UPS, USPS and FedEx. You will be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
On the RARE occasion that you do not receive your order, please ensure that you have checked your tracking number for potential delays. If you believe the package should have already arrived, reach out to us ASAP so we can start a claim with the carrier.
No. Currently we only ship to the 48 continental states - which excludes Alaska & Hawaii.
However, check back in the future! We are continually growing and expanding.
Isopod Specific Questions
That is completely up to you! If you have specific questions, such as recommendations for a clean-up crew amount, please reach out to us prior to placing your order to ensure we accommodate your specific needs.
To minimize stress caused to the Isopods, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We do offer replacements with our Live Arrival Guarantee shipping option.
We also have dozens of breeding projects at a time that are not listed on our website. We may be able to give you an estimated date as to when a colony will be ready and get you on the Pre-Order List!
(LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE) With our Next-Day Air shipping method, this is typically avoided. However, on the RARE occurrence you receive dead isopods upon arrival, please email us and send picture proof within 1 hour of receipt. Unfortunately, dead isopods upon arrival with our other shipping options are not covered under this policy. This is why we encourage you to choose Next-Day Air when at checkout.
As a company, we try to be as Green as possible, when possible. With that, we do not include individual care sheets with each isopod species shipped out. However, on the website under each species, we provide information as to their basic care needs. There are also excellent informational articles on our website that we have created to provide you with information to ensure you also are successful at breeding isopods. If you ever have a question about specific care needs, please reach out! We are here to help and educate.
